8 March 2011. Dinar Wakala LLC in Texas, with Amir Ismail Bryant and the Muslim community of North Carolina, strikes the first silver dirham in North America: 2.975 grams of fine silver, minted by AOCS and certified by the World Islamic Mint.

The American Gold Dinar
6 December 2011. The first gold dinar medallion ever produced in North America completes the gold and silver portfolio: 4.25 grams of 22 carat gold, struck to the same weight as the coin that started the movement in 1992.
